I am flying on BA61 from LHR to MLE tomorrow and currently booked in J using an Avios redemption. Looking at the flight loads on ExpertFlyer, it looks like there are still at least 3 F seats still available, and also a huge chunk of J availability too. What are the chances of BA opening up Z availability for those F seats with say 24hrs or less to go if that still remains the case and they don't think they'll sell the seats? Assume small but would be good to know so i can be prepared to snap it up if it might be possible.
We’ve twice managed to blag seats in First on this route relatively last minute. Once at T-2 days, once at T-24 hours. Also managed a similar strategy returning from DXB last year and got First availability at T-36 hours. It does happen, keep the faith,.
