Renaissance St. Augustine Historic Downtown Hotel, FL [Master Thread]

Introduction Mods - I couldn't find any threads on this hotel, feel free to merge if I missed an existing post.Spent the long MLK weekend at the Renaissance St. Augustine Historic Downtown. I had visions of doing an ElevatorEnthusiast-like photo review, but sadly a delayed flight and an hour-long check in at the Avis counter in JAX meant we didn't arrive until after 2am and the photos below are not from when the room was fresh, but after it was made up the second day (so our stuff is strewn around). Check In Check in was smooth, even at 2am - and my Ambassador status was immediately recognized and I was given vouchers for breakfast. All interactions with staff at the hotel were very pleasant - everyone was helpful and friendly. Couple of views of the lobby: Room We had a terrace level room with a great view out on a balcony. Room was very comfortable and it was clear from the room that the hotel was relatively new. My only complaint about the terrace level room was it was a bit dark during the day, but otherwise I thought it was a great room. First the terrace: Here's the room: Dining As Ambassador, I was given vouchers for breakfast. The breakfast was off the menu (no buffet) and the waiter said the voucher gave us the ability to order whatever we wanted. I got an omlette and a side of sausage - no charge. Overall good breakfast, a little bland, but good. Location Great location, easy walk to the old historic city and the fort. Very easy to get to dining and bars in the old city. Overall Overall, I really enjoyed the stay. If things brought me back to St. Augustine, I would definitely stay again.
