Number of seats notwithstanding, the main advantage of AA in this area, however, is that everyone on your PNR gets free MCE. On Delta, C+ is considered a different class of service, and so only the elite member and one companion are offered the complimentary "upgrade." This means when I'm flying with the 3 other members of my family, none of us get free access to C+ unless I split the PNR, and then only two of us get it.

Unless I'm missing something obvious.
