No real need to call. You can cancel both of your existing tickets and then book a new one online. (You can probably do it by canceling one and changing the other by adding a return leg, but that may be a little messier).

Of course. The only downside is that you may lose the ability to get a refund to your original form of payment in the case of IRROPS, and you may lose any insurance afforded by your credit card.
