Recently purchased 2 1-way tickets (intl), RT is a bit cheaper. Make sense to rebook?

This is only an example, but i recently purchased two one way tickets
LAX-IAH-EZE on FEB 22 - $1236
EZE-IAH-LAX on MARCH 1 - $801

(total $2037)

If i use the booking engine today, for a RT, LAX-IAH-EZE-IAH-LAX (same dates), the itinerary is pricing out at $1870 (difference of $167)

Does it make sense to call United and have them re-book both the one way tix to a RT?

With the elimination of change fees, it just seems like this would make sense, esp if the price savings is substantial (in this case, not so much, but I am curious)

Thoughts?

Am I breaking any rules by doing this?
