Why would there be a NITS briefing? I thought these were really only for emergencies. Did something else subsequently happen on this trip? Or would / did this incident trigger a NITS briefing?
There wouldn’t have been a NITS briefing for the blown slide. The NITS briefing and diversion (which wasn’t really a diversion just an airborne return to LOS) was in relation to the crews return flight and has been taken from the post the crew member foolishly posted on Instagram.
