Well, I've certainly met people who travel a lot who are of the "have cake - eat it too" variety. Specifically these are folks who you know have a lot of control over their schedules (some trips are of course unavoidable, but you know they're taking ones that aren't, and they have "scheduling power"... and do they really HAVE to attend all those conferences?) but are sure to complain about it anyway. You know the type, in the dead of winter they say "oh I HATE traveling this time of year... I had to be gone most of last week and the week before that and flights are always late due to weather and the de-icing and oh what a pain and then I get home and my car is cold and there's ice on the walk and I have to shovel out the driveway..." and then you ask them where they went and it's always "oh, Phoenix and then San Diego" and then it's boy it's so hard to deal with the airport in Phoenix and blah blah blah.
If I was stuck in the office (particularly in the depths of winter) I wouldn't have much sympathy for those types of people either. I think they ruin it for the rest of us.
Of course, I'm sure no FlyerTalk folks fall into this category...
