Now that I'm done with my Osaka leg of my Japan January adventure, I thought I would provide a ranking of the four Bonvoy properties that I tried - please see the master threads for full reviews and photos:
- Osaka Miyako Marriott - amazing, amazing, amazing - great views, great building, and great comfort
- St. Regis - overly-bureaucratic check-in, but great ground staff, comfortable, fantastic shower, definitely some wear and tear
- Westin - lovely old-time aesthetics, comfortable, loved the tea time lounge offering, breakfast from the restaurant needed improvment
- W - overly-bureaucratic check-in + billing mistakes, most of the staff was fantastic, bed had what felt like a mattress pad that wasn't very comfortable, cleanliness issue on the sheets, most "eco-friendly" shower pressure I've seen in Japan so far
