Always! I used to work in a phone center role many years ago. Kindness is invaluable! The person I spoke with today may have been offshore to be honest and I am not sure how much empowerment they can have with these situations. I just told them thank you for looking into it and hung up. Also hopefully I don't get into an "interest on interest" situation as I paid immediately and also just recently paid another statement without any interest/fees. However there was no late fee waiver statement credit which prompted me to call again.
