I'm down to Sheraton Manila Bay for more authentic Manila or The Grand Hyatt for better hotel and not needing to avoid touts after 24 hours of travel. Is the area around Sheraton going to be good for street food, bars, etc... I don't mind there being touts and hookers everywhere, apparently they haven't been to Las Vegas before, but do like the more authentic experience for a first time visit.

I only have a couple days in Manila to recover from jetlag before I head to Cebu and other islands.
