Sorry but I don't think I understood. You booked an AA flight that is operated by QR as a code-share flight? I guess you specifically used PC for that? Not AAdvantage?

I was upgrade to Platinum during a flight, i.e. I got a text message while flying (Wifi text/calling) that I was upgraded to Platinum so it can be pretty instantly. However this only applies to QR operated flights (and this seems to be one) when no points needs to be confirmed by another airline. In my case I never receive QPoints/Credits on QR Code sharing flights (i.e. the other way around where I would book on QR for a flight that will be operated by AA)
