What would the ‘normal’ maximum angle of attack on takeoff be? Would this differ by air-pressure and temp?
Unlike fighters, where Angle of Attack (Alpha) is directly displayed, we have no real indicated measurement of AoA. To the passenger, Alpha is a meaningless number but suffice it to say that average stall Alpha is 15-16

Some aircraft have body angle limits, IIRC the L1011 was limited to 18 degrees body angle, probably due to intake blanking on the no2 engine, the 757 didn’t and you could see higher body angles if very light. Twin engine aircraft will have greater power margins as if one fails the other has to do all the work whereas with a 4 engined aircraft if one goes the other 3 share the work.
