I just went back and checked, my Barclay Aviator posting for January 2022 had all miles count as LP when LP began in March. The transactions on that bill occurred in both 2021 and 2022. I don't believe they will post LP separately, my statements cut on the 4th each month, my February 4th statement will count as LP for the year ending 2/28/23 and my March 4th statement, which will have a bunch of miles earned from February transactions, will count as LP for the year ending 2/29/24. What KDCAFlyer posted supports this.

For earning the LP tier bonuses transaction date does matter, they post those bonuses separately than the statement.
