A couple of PC questions

1. For purposes of qualification how soon after you take your qualifying flight does your status take effect? Example, I have a trip from JFK-DOH-HKG-DOH-JFK booked on an AA Codeshare operated by QR. I will hit the 150 Qpoints needed for Silver on the HKG-DOH leg, will I receive the Silver bonus Avios on the leg I qualified on, or on the following leg from DOH-JFK or do I have to wait until the flights post and only everything after posting counts?

2. The PC website says "XX% tier bonus on eligible flights operated by Qatar" On other websites, like The Points Guy, it's worded like you'll get the bonus Avios on any flight that posts to your account. About 50% of my points will come from partners so I want to make sure I'm getting the bonus on those flights, otherwise it might not make sense to credit some of them to QR.
