I wouldn't be surprised that if UA anticipates mainland China travel picking up, they are going to need to reconsider some of the routes they had been flying. I don't think they have enough widebodies spread around to fly their pre-pandemic INTL schedule, plus all of the new routes + seasonal routes they have on the board.
