I have a 4-1/2 hour layover outbound so thought I could see for myself all the potential combinations to familiarize myself with the transfer home, 2F to Hall M, to Hall L, and to Hall K. It's my first time in T2.
Anyway the middle flight times changed and now the itinerary misconnects, happened on Thursday and no viable alternative has appeared in either my Delta or Flying Blue accounts. I picked out a great alternative, a flight via Amsterdam with a 2 hour layover and a Delta flight home so no worry about seat charges. But when I chatted with Delta on the chat feature I was told I have to wait 10 business days for Air France to work out a solution, even though I purchased the ticket from Delta.
1. Is this correct?
2. What if AF picks a 2 flight itinerary with a 1 hour layover at CDG, what is my recourse with Delta if I feel that is too tight?
3. Should I be dealing with AF even though I purchased from Delta? That goes against everything I have ever heard.
This happens all the time. If you’re unsatisfied with the new itinerary, you can always call Delta. However, the itinerary is likely to change again before summer.
