I just stayed here over the weekend again and the hotel is growing on me more and more for some reason, and I actually start to prefer coming back over the PHT.

Room
We were on points but got upgraded (although I had to be quite proactive in emailing) to the Deluxe Tower View room (4928) - so the highest category non-suite in the plant.
However, as this room is at the corner, the blockage from the new residential tower is much more obvious / intrusive than the regular Tower View rooms. So if the Tower view matters to you over the extra space, it's probably best to decline the upgrade and go with the regular Tower View rooms instead.
Not sure how the other corner room fares - presumably it has a more open view, but sans Tokyo Tower.
No housekeeping issues, as it should be for a property of this caliber.

Location
It was raining in Tokyo this weekend so the weatherproof access to two subway stations were well worth every penny. It's just gonna get better when the T-Hills Station Tower opens soon - presumably that will enable Hibiya Line full weatherproof access (currently only one direction).
I flew in from Narita in the early morning and took the Keisei SkyAccess transiting to the Hibiya Line at Higashi-Ginza - it was quite smooth and seamless (perhaps one of the shortest Toei-to-Metro transfers in town) and again, fully weatherproof.
If coming in from Haneda (like my last stay), it's a 12-minute monorail ride, followed by a 7-minute taxi ride from Hamamatsucho. If everything is smooth you could be in your room 35 minutes after engines off.

F&B
We only had breakfast and the for-all happy hour this time round.
The breakfast seems to have gotten a little bit better. The assistant manager at the Tavern was from our home country and she took excellent care of us after having identified us out.
The evening drinks are nice to have but if you got dinner scheduled, don't reschedule it for the sake of partaking.

Service
I would say the service improved - maybe it's YMMV - or a few months of having us gaijins flowing back in en masse have warranted more manpower and resources.
The concierge had been fantastic - very quick to reply, day and night (always took just a few hours max) - and would go out of their way to take care of guests as much as they can. I should also add that I booked and was only able to work with them very close in but they still delivered to my satisfaction regardless.
A stark contrast from the PHT concierge, whom I have pointed out before is sadly a mere tiny shadow of its former glory.

Facilities
The pool deck, whilst with views having been mostly obliterated, remains a very cool place to lounge and chill around at (especially on a rainy afternoon). The vitality pools are so much fun, and some people may appreciate that it's not a nude facility and you can also play on your phone while enjoying it.
There's also a nice Globalist benefit at the spa floor which I encourage fellow FTers staying in to find out
