My son's finally trip of the year, Christmas trip to IAH, was canceled due to weather in SEA and couldn't be reschedule for several days. He rescheduled the trip to this week. He is upset because the Christmas trip would have allowed him to qualify for MVP. Elite for the first time in his young life.

Does anyone have experience in asking for original flight credit for a complete trip reschedule due to weather. Not asking for double credit but "pre-date" the flight credit to the original trip. If there successful experience out there, I like to know the right things to say and best way to make that request.
