Anybody else considering closing everything to do with Barclays after they've got their 125k Avios? Had nothing but trouble, Barclaycard and Premier account not linking, finally getting it sorted in branch but the £5 Dual Reward not being backdated plus all the 3D secure problems using the card online. For me it’s the opposite, I’m actually thinking of closing my Amexes and sticking with the Barclaycard. The only problem I had was with the app (using a second device ended up blocking it from both) but this was resolved in three days by escalating to a back-office support team and I’ve had no issues at all other than that. With Amex’s declining service levels and an annoying rise in the number of shops that are stopping accepting it again, I’m seriously tempted to switch properly.
