CRJ900 has very small overhead bins, so you're very likely to have to leave your rollaboard at the aircraft upon boarding and pick it up again at disembarkation (not at baggage claim, which you won't pass anyway on a connecting flight). The duffel is not a problem since it can go under the seat in front of you.
