If you consistently choose the lowest price in the app, you are likely choosing the Uber X service level.

Thank you both very much. I honestly do not recall which level of service I selected; sometimes (with both Lyft and Uber) I select the least expensive, sometimes I choose the shortest wait. Next time I use Uber I’ll select a qualifying level if nothing else as a qualifying test (trial) ride. Thanks again.

I hope you don’t mind a suggestion and I apologize if you’ve received this suggestion many times previously. Your “competition”, Hilton, awards points for ALL Lyft rides, regardless of level of service. Marriott (and Uber) should consider a similar policy (to remain competitive).
