This may also have something to do with the new rule that says EC accounts will only be opened for humans who actually book flights.
I'm just glad they didn't decide to ditch the whole notion of household accounts. Most of us use them as intended, and I'm happy to provide documentation if that's what it takes to reduce fraud.
