Combining companion voucher rules’ confusion. Help needed.
I’m being confused by contradictory messages from BA over rules of companion ticket bookings. Mrs is GGL. Space creation for 4. Plan is to use one of her old type BA Amex premium voucher for our booking. Use a traveling Family & Friends’ similar voucher for the other 2. First call was told it was possible but all the Avios (incomplete at the time) had to come from Mrs C Household account. Reserved the booking for 72 hours while we got more Avios. On return to complete the booking new BA adviser said could not combine vouchers from 2 different people. Who is right and what is the workaround for this? I think I had previously done this several years ago but the adviser is not budging. Advice from here welcome.
