Mix of Domestic US and International. When i travel Business carry on weight doesn't matter. Some International in Y runs into weight limits for carry ons (15 lbs or less). As the empty bag weight rises, I have less spare weight for my things, leaving the bag half empty. I or family have traveled internationally in Y with the domestic sized maxlite. They have never sized it but have some times weighed it (forcing a checkin on occasion).

I think i'll go with the international size elite despite the higher price.

Anyone seen any 2-wheeled rollaboards less than 7.5 lbs without the USB stuff? I don't really care about having the ability to drop in a battery, hook up the USB socket etc. Its just weight in an empty bag (even without me dropping in a battery) that I can use for my stuff.

Any brand. At higher price points too.
