If you're a nervous flyer, as many are (perhaps including the OP) these can be disquieting, and it's worth knowing what they are. Once you can anticipate them you can actually use them to be aware of which phase of flight you're in, which provides a structure that can reduce anxiety.
The three pings before entering the runway is my favorite, especially when flying in 7A on the 787-9 and staring straight at the engine. Love the spool up as we start charging down the runway.

Much prefer it to the Mexican announcement from flight deck of "Tripulación, próximo al despegue" (crew, next to take off).
