I haven't seen it get much attention, but SAS is offering very cheap transatlantic coach fares to London and Dublin. I booked late August from NYC to London and a return from Dublin (saving the nasty carbon tax doing it that way) for less than $300 all in. It takes some effort poking around on the SAS website to find flights with decent Scandinavian connections (and you're still looking at 12 to 14 hours each way) but the price is right, especially for summer travel. SAS is a Star Alliance airline and, while the coach service isn't best in class, it's certainly better than a discount airline -- and you get a free normal size carry on.
$300 DFW return to DUB or LHR via ARN? Sounds too good to be true.
