How soon? If you have -- or can acquire -- IHG Rewards points before then, that might be your best option. Both the LAX Holiday Inn and the LAX Holiday Inn Express have complimentary airport shuttles; the HI Express offers free parking. (The HI Express seems to be more highly rated.)

The benefit of redeeming points is that you avoid most, if not all, taxes on a stay at LAX. IHG points are sometimes sold for as little as 0.5˘ apiece, which should get you a room at either property for $100-$130.
