The EC-NA is outsourced and just reads from the prayer book. We did have this sent to the UK for review, but even on the second appeal, we were denied.

It's not that the Silver benfits are that important if you are in J or sitting with a Gold, but I did think that the new Silver tags would look quite stylish on her black luggage. I know status tags are not the merry way, but put it down to my idiosyncrasy.

I did see a nice silver tag in the Links shop in Termianl 1, so perhaps with some custom engraving I might create something unique.

I have always seen the EC as a marketing and sales vehicle, an excuse for a customer to feel loyal and for a vendor to bond and secure their future. I have spent the last few months wondering about BA's updated philosophy and wanted to warn anyone on the road to Silver to be sure to count their segments.
