Iberia in Boston - check in at counter necessary?
Hello all,
when flying Iberia from Boston to Madrid, is it necessary to go to the check in counter?
Or in case you do not have any checked bags, could you check in online, and just go through security and to the gate?
I am asking since we are planning to come in with JetBlue earlier in the day, and we don't have checked bags.
Since Iberia does not participate in TSA PreCheck, and there is the connector from Terminal C to Terminal E airside after security, in theory we could just walk over, to the Iberia gate in Terminal E, once we land in Terminal C, which would be especially nice not to have to stand in regular security in Terminal E.
But since it is an ex-USA flight, does Iberia make all passengers come to the check in counter in person, regardless of bags?
Thank you in advance, for any insight anyone might have on this.
