Really wanted to like the Eliza Jane. Unfortunately, ended up very underwhelmed.

Pros:
- Upgraded to an interior suite ahead of check-in. I actually liked the room despite some negative reviews posted here. Very dark with no windows, but afforded a great quiet sleeping environment.
- 1pm late checkout honored without issue.
- Valet was solid. Car was always available within 10 minutes of calling.

Cons:
- Globalist breakfast benefit at Couvant is insufficient. Globalists are given $25/person credit, but that didn't include taxes/tip and certainly doesn't come close to covering the standard Globalist breakfast benefit requirement (breakfast entrée, coffee, and juice) considering most of the breakfast entrees are above $20. Ended up owing about $20+/day for breakfast (and all I ordered was an entrée, coffee, and juice). Front desk was inflexible in adjusting appropriately, so I just let it go. Was even told by the front desk that taxes/tip wasn't included for Globalists. Could probably complain to my concierge, but not really worth the time at this point considering how much effort it took simply to checkout...
- Front desk staff could use significant improvement. Needed to split my folio between two cards (something I do routinely almost everywhere I stay without issue) and front desk staff simply could not figure it out. After waiting 15 mins, ended up checking out without a folio in hand with promises it would be sent via email (it's wasn't). Nor were the charges correct when I finally received them two days later. Had to follow-up with four phone calls (including almost an hour on hold) to receive an emailed folio and then get them to remove the insufficiently credited Globalist breakfast.
- Housekeeping unavailability and lack of attention to detail. On a two night stay, housekeeping was unable to service the room despite calling to request it twice midday. The large wall-mounted refillable bottle of C.O. Bigelow body wash ran out on my second night, so it clearly wasn't close to being full prior to check-in. Front desk eventually sent up a small bottle of different body wash.

Really wanted to like the property, but will probably checkout the Hyatt Centric next time. YMMV.
