I do not give advice however it appears to be still bookable on the BA system. Might want to give it another try (via SEA instead of DFW). I have no info on the AA metal/BA codeshare.
Good luck. They told me they would send for manual ticketing last time, which I think they did but kept just booking flights that got cancelled so ended up nowhere. I'll prob move to the DFW routes since those seem safer. However, BA still holding my e-voucher hostage so need to wait for that to come back.
