^ this. and if you don't have a BP the digital MP card in the UA app or Apple Wallet works just fine.
it recently happened to me that i was visiting an LH lounge on a layover, had only been issued my first BP on departure, and couldn't get the onward BP because the gate wasn't yet open. had no problem accessing the lounge with digital MP card.
