AA will be revising the AAdvantage program in 2023, eliminating "MileSAAver" awards. Once that happens, there will be a change in how award seats are made available to partner programs like BAEC. Time will tell whether that makes it easier or harder to redeem Avios on AA flights. Stay tuned.
I am not near an AA hub currently. I'm an Alaska guy these days (but a no-status AMEX guy now) and close to SEA, but boy is it tough to redeem Avios on Alaska!
