With the world as it is at the moment in terms of inflation - could someone help with what is a "good" or "acceptable" amount to pay per TP. Is £2 per TP a good price or should I be aiming for lower?

If flying just to get tier points, generally anything at under £2 can probably be considered good. But the cheapest tier points are always either those that you would get anyway because you need to travel, or the extra points you get by choosing an "optimised" itinerary. As an example, if you need to fly to San Francisco and would get 70 Tier Points in Economy, you might choose to fly London to New York and then to San Francisco to get 2 * 70TP, so an extra 70TP just for parking your bum on a seat for 5-6 hours longer.

Read the excellent "sticky" threads at the top of this forum and you will soon become clued-in.
