An ex girlfriends sister used to work for Air 2000.

They had one or so slide deployments a year.

The plane is allowed to fly with one slide innop under its minimum equipment list.

Once a slide was deployed on a greek island, and one slide was already out of service. The plane was hence stuck The crew member was fired.

Given triggering a slide means you have ignored the instructions of the captain to disarm AND CROSS CHECK I can say I am surprised it was ( for A2000 anyway) a dismissible offence.

Remember " cabin crew are there for your safety" so that bit they could reasonably be elected to get right!
