Don’t know if this is the best thread to note this or what, but I’m on a multi-segment itinerary (booked as a simple round-trip, but work plans required turning it into multi-leg), and had a misconnect a few days ago on my middle flights because of a mechanical delay.
I was auto-rebooked onto a new connection, no big deal (other than losing 3+ hours). However, the rebooked segment shows up last on my PNR when checking it on my app.
I’m now within 24 hours of my last flight, and I can’t check in online, and whenever I check the itinerary I get a message stating that one of my schedules flights has been delayed and I can rebook. This message is left over from the weekend IRROPS, but it seems to be inhibiting my ability to check in/get an electronic boarding pass.
segments out of order are not a problem, but you can't check in. You can call or the airport check-in desk can fix this.
On re-booking ... recent 90 min delay allowed re-booking and offered the last 2 F seats protecting a cleared PZ.
