I know that I did spend $4,000 in 3 months and I did not buy any gift cards or do any of the things prohibited by the T&Cs. Also, I'm not a card churner. I now have my points back but I received no email from Amex telling me they had made a mistake, so I'm concerned that they might just take them away again. OTOH, I'm concerned if I call them they won't tell me exactly why the points were taken away and may say that I shouldn't have received my points back. Does anyone have any experience with this and do you think it's worth calling Amex about this, even though I have my points back?
Are you outside the SUB spend period?
