It seems there is a confusion in this thread between reservation confirmation (with a 6 letter code), that is what AS send when a flight has been booked, and an E-ticket (13 digit number starting by 027) that is never emailed unless specifically requested. Reservation confirmations only contain flight info, not baggage info, those are not e-tickets.
All the required baggage info are displayed on AS web site when you look your reservation there, and you can also print your e-ticket there.
Baggage fee waiver depend son your AS or OW elite or BofA credit card status at the time you travel, not at the time you book. That will be determined when you do the check-in not when you book your trip. You will see all your status fee waiver when you do the check-in.
