Question on Westjet Rewards

I don't have the patience to go on hold for hours to talk to someone who has no idea, or chat with a useless chatbot, so hoping someone here has some tips!
We retired to Kelowna during the pandemic and are finally hoping to start getting our retirement travel done.
We got an RBC WestJet World Elite MasterCard last year for all our Westjet bookings - the card is in my name and my wife is an additional cardholder.
Our travel is 99.9% just the two of us.
All the the RBC WestJet rewards go to my Westjet account as the primary cardholder.
When we book flights online, we are asked for both our WestJet Reward account IDs, and it appears that my wife gets a small number of points for each flight.
Is there no way to take those reward dollars for the flights that my wife is getting and combine them somehow?
From what I can see, there is no "family" option, and there is a penalty for transferring points.
What is the best way to deal with this?
Appreciate your help on this and any other tips you can offer.
