This actually makes quite a bit of sense.

Not that I'm suggesting how anyone runs his/her business, but I've always been a huge proponent of keeping a definitive separation between personal and business expenditures. From a prior thread, I had mentioned winding down our business and these MR points earned through business deducted expenditures must now be reported as personal income (cashing out via the business checking), unlike if they had been used to redeem personal flight travel.

Again, not suggesting what others should or shouldn't do, but the mixing of personal & business MR accounts here is, in my estimation, not a good idea.
