I find that whenever my seats are changed by the airline, it's for similar / better seats. For example, I often choose the first row of Y when flying short haul and if the curtain moves, they will move me to the "new" first row of Y.
If it’s a light fare, SEN & HON need to pay for seats, so much for loyalty
