The long-term closures are south of the resort, so anyone planning to drive Northbound to the resort from SLO, LA, etc. will be SOL for the next few months.
The closure on Highway 1 by Carmel are temporary due to flooding, and unlikely to impact travel to the resort once the storms pass and the roads are drained. More info here:

I have a reservation for mid-February. I was planning on a 5ish hour drive from LA. This may mean it will take 6.5-7 hours instead. Can’t swallow cancelling this yet but I may just have to because that much driving doesn’t make sense for a two-night stay.
