Multiple entries to hotel breakfasts
Please humour this most minor of questions probably based on an inflated concern! When I'm traveling for work I often take the opportunity to switch to OMAD (one meal a day), surviving for a week on a hearty (albeit low carb and sugar) hotel breakfast and doing a water fast for the remaining 23 hours of the day. As a temporary period of fasting I find it works rather well. However, lately I've been worrying about the effects of coffee on nutrient absorption. Its effects on iron absorption are well-studied, for example.
If I went down at, say, 6.30am for coffee, and then at 8am for breakfast, would most hotels have a problem letting me back in? I can see them ticking me off the first time and then making a fuss the second time. I love coffee and don't want to either go without it or step out of the hotel so early to find a coffee shop. On the other hand, if it's my one meal of the day, I'm worried I can't really afford to inhibit absorption of its contents!
