I plan to travel on SQ multiple times a year from NY. Because of this, I wanted to know if I should commit to any domestic US airlines to assist in my status. I normally only fly Delta as they are the only respectable US carrier. But what are some advantages of switching to a Star Alliance carrier like United and how could that help me with my SQ status and how would flying frequently on SQ help me with my United status? Is it worth dropping Delta? Should I just continue flying Delta/SQ?
