Except that "pay the fare difference" is not an option. It would be great if it were because, without that, these have little value for us. Most itineraries where these make sense are long enough that we'd want paid F as the earnings on AA are higher. So, we'd use these on shorter trips, where we would fly coach, and could find some value, but not as much.
