UR bookings not covered by FAA Ground Stops for Trip Delay
Booked (only) a hotel using part UR/part cash for 1/11-16 booked with a CSP.
FAA ground stop this morning caused our flight to be cancelled, and we are not able to get to Maui until TWO DAYS from now.
Chase benefits says FAA ground stops not covered by any trip delay/cancellation insurance.
Chase said we have to call the hotel and inquire about a refund...
How is this handled? Are we owed any points/cash back and how in the heck should I go about handling this?
