Thx for the comment. I'll take a look at the Westin. If I redeem for points, I need to get good value or I'll just pay cash. I've been to the 4P before and I thought it was alright. I'm already on the record for saying that I'll only consider staying there if the cash rate is less than S$300.
Unless you have business in the CBD I would prefer the locations of Marriott Tang Plaza or JW Marriott both of which have nice lounges. The St Regis is also nice with large rooms and decent elite recognition although no lounge.
