The hotel itself was fine, rooms a bit small and no real upgrades have ever been given. Lounge again is “ok” and can get busy for the first hour but most guests use it as a quick stop for a pre-dinner drink and thins out after that.
the front desk are very laid back, almost horizontal at times, which can get frustrating when you have something to say to them.
it’s worth mentioning that I’ve just read they’ve embarked on a huge refurbishment.
Doubtful I'll benefit from a refurb since I'm staying in EDI in late June. But cool nonetheless.
