Agent was happy to change it, but said system would force JFK-LAX into AA code. On BA there was only F availability when searching the whole trip through. On AA there was A class. So it's probably to do with this? I denied the change myself, but confirmed I could phone up again to get the GUF applied to the extra leg if I chose.
