Agree with others on the answers. Hotel probably wont help at this stage (year in advance alghought they do have the ability to control what they show on the Bonvoy site for redemptions like the 5th night free), however since your booking is so far out, I would keep your booking as you have and monitor it every month or so.. I have found what’s not available today might be available tommorow. WIll take some effort on your part over the coming months to keep checking but that’s my method for situations like you have. I am guessing its a higher end property that right now is limiting how much Bonvoy love they are going to give.
The fact that you don’t need to have all the points upfront when you book anymore will help that strategy if you decide to use it. Good luck
